CITEA Past Presidents

This page is part of the CITEA Historical Archives.
We welcome your suggestions and questions!

CITEA was founded in 1928 as the California Industrial Arts Association (CIAA), later became the California Industrial Education Association (CIEA) and is now the California Industrial and Technology Education Association, reflecting our commitment to both Technology Education and Industrial/Vocational Education.  In about 2001 we formed two associations, the CITEA Foundation, a (c)(3) nonprofit, to carry on the professional development and communications functions of the Association, and  CITEA, a (c)(6) nonprofit, to pursue legislation to promote Industrial and Technology Education in California's public school system.

The individuals here represent the entire span of CITEA history, from 1930 to the present, working hard to support and promote our teachers and programs.

(Please send photos of past presidents, CITEA people, and events, to info@citea.org.  Include a brief explanation of the photographs you send if possible!)    If you do not have a scanner, we can provide that service.  Call us at 408 924-3227.
